Fashion Beat TV Ep. 7 Pt. 1: Armadillo
In this first part of three, we interview director Janus Metz about his prize-winning documentary about a group of young Danish soldiers during their tour of Afghanistan's Helmand Province. His film has won numerous awards, among them the prestigious Cannes Semaine de la Critique. The film has also sparked much controversy and debate due to the nature of some of the scenes depicted.

FILM: Consumption Starring Magdalena Frackowiak
Directed by Warren du Preez & Nick Thornton Jones this chilling Fashion Film showcases the Polish-born supermodel as she evolves from theatrical beauty to haunting flame. The effect reminds me of the Solarisation techniques pioneered by Surrealist photographers Lee Miller and Man Ray at the beginning of the 20th Century while the sound design and music Jon Gosling and Emre Ramazanoglu perfectly sets the tone and pace of the visual evolution.

MUSIC: Radiohead's "Lotus Flower" music video
It's no secret, here at Fashion Beat TV we love Radiohead not only for their musical output but also for their great videos. Now, after a long enough wait, Radiohead are exploding back on to the scene with the first video to their single "Lotus Flower" off the new album released this week "King of Limbs".

Fashion Beat Presents 2010 Highlights - "Trespassers" Music Video
Between showcasing parts One and Two of our interview with Danish band Kashmir we thought we would take this opportunity to re-showcase the video for their song "Trespassers". As lead singer Kasper Eistrup relates in Part One of the interview, they got their fans involved by having them film themselves making use of the trademark orange and blue arrows in some way. Then the clips were submitted to be included in the video.
